Paroles de Time

We don’t like the highway, but there’s a greyhound bus
And if I had my way I’d be boarding one now cause
Even though it’s spring now and they say the sky is blue
I only see in color when I’m looking toward you

And time is not the enemy but sometimes it sure seems that way
Time to waste and time to wait
So I sit and dream, sit and dream all day
And I know soon enough we’ll be together
So what is this little wait compared to forever?

It is not a question of giving up or giving in
It’s more like the answer, “You are right where you’ve always been.”
And I don’t have a problem with twiddling my thumbs
But I’ll admit, I’ll admit, I’ll admit that sometimes I, sometimes I do

And we’ve got time, we’ve got time to spend
Years to start, just months to end

We don’t like the highway, but there’s a greyhound bus
We don’t like the highway, let’s take the greyhound bus
We don’t like the highway
