Paroles de Tapistry

My life has been a tapistry of rich and royal hugh

An everlasting vision of the everchanging view

A wonderess woven magic in bits of blue and gold
A tapistry to feel and see, impossible to hold

Ones amid the soft and silver sadness of the see

there came a man of fortune

a drifter passing me

he wore a thorn and tattered cloth

around his lethered hide

and a coat of many clours, yellow-green on either side

he moved with some uncertenty
once he reached for somethng golden, hanging from a tree

and his hand came down empty

soon within' my tapistry along the rutted road

he sat down on a riverrock and turned into a toad

it seemed that he had fallen into someones wicked spell

and i whepped to see him suffer

though i didn't know him well

as i watched in wonder

there suddenly appeared

a figure grey and gohstley

beneath a flowing beard

in times of deepest darkness

i've seen him dressed in black

now my tapistry's unreaveling

he's come to take me back....

he's come to take me back.....
