i think i'll take some time
get away
and do something for me
i guess it's safe to say
a holiday
is just the thing i need
and if i fly across the ocean

i feel peaceful for the notion

the seasons changed and now the flowers
that once wilted are in bloom
i catch the fragrance as it drifts
into the windows of my room
and as i float along the ceiling
the curtains blow and start to fray
and this is such a perfect feeling

the patience of a mother
turns into another shade of green
a parody of danger
