we've got fragile little walls for protection. it's simple that way and it's comfortable. there's nothing wrong with comfort or simplicity, but realize these walls are fragile. they'll break when we push on them. they'll break if the wind blows us into power lines, and if they break, we'll find ourselves exposed and maladapted thanks to our isolation. still we keep out all transmissions. still we keep ourselves locked in these rainbow reflective walls of soapy clear substance. they're not as effective as we think. they're not disinfective, just antibiotic which happens to build stronger bacteria, so now we're more susceptible thanks to our isolation, and we're defenseless and unprepared behind these walls. we're living in bubbles for security. we're living in bubbles of isolation. that's not helping us see the world, we're just looking through rainbow colored walls. that's not helping us connect with the outside, we're too busy protecting our bubbles from the hands of outsiders, so we limit ourselves and our interactions, and we make ourselves irrelevant to outsiders. to make effective change we can't become isolated. we've got to reach out beyond our bubbles and not let ourselves become sterile. some transmissions must get through; some transmissions must be sent or our bubble culture is doomed to be blown away and lose effect. there's more to this world than our own little bubble. we've got to reach beyond it if we really want to make change. change is not just for us, and our pretty colored vision, change is for the whole world.
