Wissahickon serves as a model for other suburban schools However, it is not problem free. Despite my pride & love in wissahickon highschool i worry about it. While attending, i noticed, that wissahickon is suffering from a problem that is hurting children & teenagers from all areas of our country Students at wissahickon have problems with their mental health status. A member of wissahickons class of 2001 who was an honour student and a star on our girls track & field team committed suicide in her dorm room, during her freshman year. Depression is an isolating desease. 19% of teenagers have admitted to suicidal thougts 8% have attempted suicide It is the 3rd cause of death among teenagers following only car-accidents & homicide. Suicide solution, society contribution Infinite downtime, incompatible design. Suicide kills 1600 teenagers each year, i was depressed. It can be dead-mental if depression becomes to much Every year, we a weight, measured, checked for sculliosis and tested for tuberculosis. Tubercolosis has not killed anybody unter 25 in the past years However, suicide kills 1600 teengers each year. Depression is a silent epidemic among teenagers. It is the 3rd cause of death among teenagers following only car-accidents & homicide.
