Right now all I hear are those adjectives you use to put me to shame Everything you say is like a soft downpour on a misty night But when you call me names, they clang out like thunder Arrogant, psycho, weird, crazy, fucking asshole The only thing I can muster is an "I'm sorry" every few minutes The pause in between each apology makes my voice lose clarity with a choke of uncertainty You ask if I really love you and those words echo through my brain "I don't know" is the only honest thing I've ever said to you but my mistake negates any feelings I could have As you walk away from me and cry, I reach out and grab your hand and kiss it one last time You say you loved me and the tense that you use crushes me in two I guess this emptiness inside without you is the undiscovered love I had for you
