I've been wearing the same shirt for days. The last time I looked it had smoke and coffee stains. So you tell me that I'm lacking drive...well you're right. Some people tell me that I'm cynical. Others say don't be so god damn miserable. I say OK give me a drink and a guitar. And we'll get good and drunk and we'll sing some songs about our youth and the politics as we know them. And as we get older, the hangovers get stronger. And we'll say OK to the past and we'll look forward past borders and money. But the truth at the end of the day is that we're just drunk. The day-to-day lifestyle of the common brit is feeling like shit, then trying not to feel like shit. Coffee and pills don't do the trick when you know that's it. By now you're probably wondering what's got me so pissed off. If I could tell you that then I wouldn't get frequent writers block. Nevermind, give me a drink and a guitar. And we'll wake up the next morning feeling like shit. Drink. Repeat.
