invading me, exposing me,
... i failed again

Accusations chasing me
while Shame is closing in on me

What is this thing inside of me
that keeps my sickness
tied to me? No matter how i
thought & planned,
it's back to where it all began.

i dropped my shattered sword & fled,
forsaken shield a sickened red
all the things i meant not to do,
i have done ... i failed again.
