Paroles de Shards of Glass Contain Angles

I'm glad you finally got that angle
I've always thought you could do better
Now you say we can still rise over
From under the gravel
But you always would rather me be the martyr
Love is old but we must be somewhere
Do you the time to just let it all go?
I'm sure we'll part again and become the weaves of her hair
And the winds will tell our story as a tragedy

Of this dusty road...

"But if you hear the words that we speak, I swear to you now it's easier to be a traitor."

I was only trying to write a simple sonnet
All I've left to doubt I'll leave in the open
Nothing to do with love I can't understand how to see it
If I could write anything else I'd leave it up to the ending
But I've tried and tried to write myself back to sleep
Over you but you cannot see what I've been saying

"I see those walls you build, Open your eyes let light pour in, until your blinded."

We are all merely glass
How easily we break to the world, alas!
We are all merely glass We are only what we make ourselves to contain

"I've taken pace with the world. To hold just that, and that just might be fact.
We are all merely glass
How easily we break to the world, alas!
We are all merely glass
All handmade and flawed but profound nonetheless
We are merely glass
Saved by the soft grass
We're merely glass
We are only what we make ourselves to contain
I've taken pace with the world. And that just might be fact."
