Paroles de Land of a Thousand Lakes (Demo 2)

So I came across a small child on the run
He glanced at me made his fingers into a gun
He said you need God along with spirituality
I turned to him bid him thanks and left kindly
I ranaway so quickly, I had forgot to run
Should've known these lakes, streams, and sun
Would get me thinking about what he was conveying
Turning them into my grey sky now I'm wondering
I guess it was my curiosity of you by my night stand
Tightly weaved between his body and hands

So begging a god to help me just wont help
Then headed to a monastery all I could prove was hell

But I'll be alright traveling this road, it just might starve then again...
But then again, I'm still searching for a home in a not so foreign land
I guess finding that love is just a blanket to me
Just like a baby fighting off sleep and insecurity
Yet, it won't warm through the nights of winter
Or find you covered in armor.

So begging a god to help me just wont help
You head down to a monastery but all your gonna prove is hell

So when I came back across that small child
I (asked him what he meant) said I'll see you again after while
So begging a god to help me just wont help
Then you can head to the monastery and all you can prove is hell

I've been traveling this road
Without you, so I'm not remind that I am alone
So I asked that small child what did you mean
He said man your life's snowing
I said Child why you runaway from me?
He said "SIR!" you made me think...

So begging a god to take me just wont help
I can't find a monastery but I can still prove hell
So begging a god to take me just wont help
And I can still prove that this place is hell...(on me)
