Nearly 2 million people are incarcerated
in the prison system of the United States
many of those are in prisons run by private corporations
who then trade their stock on wall street based on
how many people they keep in their jail
The whole thing is a money making sham

you fill our prisons with
folks who smoke a little weed
while murderers are running free
And I know they're an easy target
but what does that say of you
Have you nothing better to do
I'd give you more than a little more respect
if you protected who you're supposed to
And served more than just the few
Because we pay for you
